News matters.
A serious editorial home with equal prominence to the community, not an afterthought.
THE IDEA BEHIND thebanana.blogNot a website.
Not a website.
A place.
A city-like international news and community experience, with open streets, doors to explore, and privacy you can trust.
People matter.
Discussion, friendship, private conversation, and connection across borders.
Doors have meaning.
Public, member, and supporter spaces, with visible explanations and server-side access rules.
Keep the mystery.
Discoverable rooms and atmosphere, but never confusion about where to go or who may enter.
Independent international editorial and community space. Original art, photography, stories, and connection.
