This is a state park pull-off with no facilities. There are paths that head off from the parking lot in both easterly and westerly directions with lots of wooded cover. There's a steep grade down to the river, but most guys stay at the top area.
The observation tower is on the top of the mountain on the edge of a cliff, in the woods. Surrounding area, and lower parking lot are cruisy during the day.
Medium sized hidden rest area next to the park n ride. Wooded trails head down to the Deerfield River. Hang in your car or walk down to the river. Be cautious of fishermen and or commuter folks parking their cars. Not all are here for play.
