Car park located off Bitsi Hwy, across from speedway, and next to the river. Traffic goes by but car play in or around your vehicle opposite is discreet. Can see other cars turning into park to allow for discretion. UPDATE: You can now drive further into the park. The area in front of the large iron pipe gate has been blocked off. The old cement pillars are still there. Good for hiding behind. Both new bridges are open. Not enough room underneath for discrete action.
It is a reservoir for the plant but also a fishing lake. So there will be people who go there to fish. Other times there will be people who work at the power plant that go there after work to drink, eat food, jack off, hook-up. It's all on your judgement. BE CAUTIOUS! This is a place mainly to meet up and fuck. Also if you're wanting to wear sexy clothes and walk about, there's plenty of warning for vehicles approaching. There have been naked guys there, workers meeting to fuck, cum dumps waiting for cock, blow and go, hookers, couple, singles, groups, young men to older daddies. There's really no security there, unless the plant workers come to inspect the water inflow pipes and the dam. Also it's on the Rez, so no police patrol, unless they are called to the power plant. Roads and paths are dirt so when it rains it's muddy. In the summertime mosquitoes are everywhere so bring the OFF. People also swim naked. Now, because it's an area that really doesn't get attention by the tribe, there will be trash everywhere. Just be careful where you step. BUT, if you collect cans, Morgan Lake is your Gold Mine!!! Now you can go there anytime, day or night. Just remember if you're driving around at night people who live close by or managers of the power plant will see your headlights and will call the police. Also, cell service is a hit or miss there.
There are two bike trail entrances and both have lockable private restrooms. You can also find a lot of fun by stepping off into the woods a bit. Have had fun there a few times.
There are 800 acres and two parts to this park. The white trail side is west of New Britain Ave. near Fairlawn St. and houses the DEP buildings. The blue trail side is just east of NB Ave. One side may be better than the other. This park is close to several large factories and company buildings and down the street from the Tunxis Community College. Update: buildings have been bulldozed and removed. The completely open area now.
